What does stairwell cleaning cost?
We deliberately do not quote a flat rate here. Two buildings with the same number of flats can differ considerably in the work involved, and a price that would have to be adjusted later helps nobody. These five points determine what your cleaning costs:

Floors and stair flights
Four floors with half-landings are a different matter from two — and a lift changes the time spent moving through the building again.

Area and flooring
How many square metres actually get mopped, and whether it is natural stone, tiles or linoleum.

Schedule
Weekly, fortnightly or monthly. A tighter schedule costs less per visit, because less dirt builds up.

Facilities on site
Whether there is a water supply and a storage cupboard, or whether we bring water and materials every time.

Travel
If your property sits on a route we drive anyway, that feeds straight into the quote.

Do I have to commit for a long period?
No. Our contracts can be cancelled monthly — there is no minimum term of twelve or twenty-four months and no automatic renewal for another year. If the arrangement is not working for you, you should be able to leave without waiting for an end date.
Monthly notice or an annual contract?What does the price depend on?
Mainly on the area, the frequency and the actual work involved on site: a stairwell with four floors and a lift is a different matter from one with two. Travel and facilities come on top — for instance whether there is a water supply available for stone cleaning. That is why we only quote a firm price after the initial survey, rather than a flat rate that would have to be adjusted later.
How quickly will I hear back about my enquiry?
We normally reply to enquiries sent through the contact form within one working day — usually straight away with a quote, free and without obligation. If it is urgent, you will reach us considerably faster by phone or WhatsApp.
Will you take on my clearing and gritting duty?
Yes, that is exactly what the winter maintenance service is for: we clear footpaths, driveways and parking spaces and grit the surfaces so that they are passable at the times customary locally. As the owner you pass the duty on to us contractually, instead of having to get up early yourself every time it snows.
