How a stone clean works.
Four steps that are the same on every surface — starting with the question of what the surface can take.
Assessing the surface and the material
First we establish what we are dealing with: concrete paving, natural stone, clinker and exposed aggregate concrete tolerate very different methods and pressures. The state of the joints matters just as much — where the jointing material is loose, too much pressure does more damage than it removes dirt.
Test patch and protection
On a small, inconspicuous patch we try out the method and the pressure before working the whole surface. We cordon off the working area and cover adjoining façades, windows, doors and plants. The original condition is photographed beforehand.
Cleaning and draining the waste water
We work across the surface at a constant distance so that no stripes appear; edges and transitions are finished by hand. The waste water produced is drained in line with local rules — depending on the municipality it may not enter the storm drains or the ground unfiltered.
Final check and report
We only judge the result once the surface has dried — wet, every surface looks clean; what counts is the dry state. Joints washed out by the cleaning are refilled on request. Before-and-after images go into the customer portal with the report.
